This year’s Free Software and Open Source Symposium (FSOSS) is now accepting presentation proposals. In addition to the regular talks and and workshops at FSOSS, there will also be a 1-day Teaching Open Source Summit. If you’re working in open source or open source education, consider submitting a talk proposal to one of these two amazing events. In fact, that entire week (Oct 24-30) is packed with related events in the city (watch http://opensourceweek.ca/ for details over the summer). Great time to be working on ‘open’ in Toronto.

Will be good to hear the outcomes.. We are in Africa and would be glad to mainstream stuff happening int his part of the world..
But whichever way, keep us updated. The Free Software and Open Source Foundation for Africa will be glad to follow up – http://fossfa.net
