I’ve been asked enough times today that I thought I better comment: the videos from FSOSS (keyed to agenda) are all being released under a CC license. Yes, you can mirror them, put them on your favourite video site, whatever. When we get a minute we’ll do a proper page for them, rss feeds, etc. A big thank-you to all the speakers who agreed to this.

Oh, please, do not say “a CC license” when referring to a specific license!
There is a giant difference between CC by, CC by-nc-nd, and CC Sampling licenses. So to get an essential piece of information stored in _this_ page, one has to hover over a link and look into a statusbar, or have a special extension installed, which was quite slow the last time I’ve tried it (frankly, that was a year or so ago, though)…
So “whatever” in that list is pretty meaningless when you do not know what license is meant. Here it is something close to “verbatim noncommercial distribution is permitted”.
