Amber Allen

AMBER ALLEN is a writer of literary fiction and short stories. She studied English literature and creative writing at York University before earning her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Toronto. She recently completed her debut novel – a story that explores love, loss, family, and motherhood from the perspective of a precocious pre-teen narrator. She has been a reviewer for CM Magazine since 2012 and currently works in the University of Guelph Library. Her short fiction has been published in Existere. Amber grew up in Fergus and, after a decade in Toronto, has finally settled in Guelph with her husband and two children.
