Vocamus Writers Community is hosting supper on Thursday, October 24, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, right smack dab between two poetry readings.
You can start out at the afternoon poetry reading, The Bees Nest, presented by The AbleHamilton Poetry Festival, 2:30 PM, at The Bookshelf, featuring Annie LePage, Dominik Parisien, and Hymns57 (Steven De Taeye).
Afterward you can can come over to Jeremy Luke Hill's house (130 Dublin Street North) for vegan-friendly soup, homemade bread, and conversation with the visiting poets. No need to bring anything, but feel free to contribute an appetizer or dessert if you're feeling ambitious. (Please note that the house is not wheelchair accessible.)
Then people can head over to the evening poetry reading, Kevin Heslop's chapbook launch with Mike Chaulk and John Nyman, which begins at 7:00 PM at The Bookshelf.
If you can't be there for everything, don't worry. You're welcome to join us for what you can. Hope to see you there!
