Book Bash is Looking for Sponsors

Friends of Vocamus Press' 4th Annual Guelph Book Bash Festival will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lakeside Hope House (10 Cork Street East) on Sunday, October 15, hosted by local musician and activist James Gordon.

The Book Bash Festival is an annual celebration of Guelph books. The event is an afternoon of music, prizes, and fun in recognition of books published by Guelph and area authors over the previous year.

More than 30 local authors will be in attendance to introduce their books, sell copies, and mingle with the audience to chat and sign their work. The event attracts more than 200 guests each year.

We’re looking for local businesses to support the festival for at least $250.

Sponsors will have their brand promoted with the event through newspaper, online media, our display at the Guelph Public Library, and our banner on the Norfolk Street overpass. They’ll also be invited to have an information table at the event and be recognized at the festival in the printed program, by the host from the mic, and in the looping slideshow before and after the program.

If you or a business you know would be willing to support Guelph book culture in this way, you can contact us at or at 226-500-7301.
