Join Vocamus Writers Community for our annual Spring Retreat on Manitoulin Island from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16.
We’ll pick you up around 9:00 AM on Friday, June 14 and drop you off at home sometime late on the evening of Sunday, June 16. You'll spend two nights and the better part of two days at a cottage on beautiful Dominion Bay, Manitoulin Island, with all your transportation, ferry tickets, and meals provided. You'll have ample quiet time to write during the day, and then a campfire with a few drinks and some chat in the evening.
Dominion Bay is on the south shore of Manitoulin Island, with a huge sand beach, plenty of room to hike and explore, a tennis court, a lawn bowling green, and lots of quiet places to write inside and out. The cottages have three bedrooms (so you'll have two cabin mates), complete linens, full bathrooms, kitchens for making snacks, and outlets for your laptops (but no wifi – we're roughing it after all). They’re heated too (and we may still need it up there in June).
