The Elora Poetry Centre & Gallery celebrates the annual, global 100 Thousand Poets for Change day with a reading by bill bisset on Saturday, September 30 at 4:00 PM.
100 Thousand Poets for Change is a day when poets and artists around the world celebrate peace, sustainability, and justice, and call for serious social, environmental, and political change. Canadian poet and artist, bill bissett, the “shaman of sound and performance,” will read/chant/dance his work. Among bissett’s awards are The George Woodcock Lifetime Achievement Award and the Dorothy Livesay Prize.
There will also be live music, finger food, and conversation.
