Tea 'N' Tales

The Guelph Storyteller's Guild is holding its summer Tea 'N' Tales series again this year on Fridays from June 16 to September 8, plus a Canada Day performance and 3 Saturdays of family tales. The events are held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Guelph Enabling Garden in Riverside Park.

Bring your own lawnchair and a mug for free coffee or iced tea while supplies last.

The complete schedule is below –

  • June 16: Brenda Byers and Don Conibear, with prelude entertainment by Trillium Jazz Trio.
  • June 23: Norman Perrin and Brian Holstein, with prelude entertainment by The Silver Strummers.
  • June 30: Jay Wilson and tandem tellers Jean Bubba and Meryl Arbing, with prelude entertainment by Djembe drummers.
  • July 1 CANADA DAY: James Gordon, Robert Munsch and Larry Gibbs, with entertainment by the Shepherd’s Knot.
  • July 7: Donna McCaw and JennyQ with prelude entertainment by The Silver Strummers.
  • July 14: Kait Taylor and Mary McCullum Baldersaro, with prelude entertainment by violinist Bridget Walsh.
  • July 15: Family Friendly Storytelling “Under the Magic Ash”, with Robert Munsch, Sarah Abusarar and friends.
  • July 21: Anna Kerz and June Brown with prelude entertainment by The Shepherd’s Knot.
  • July 28: Lynn Torrie and Brad Woods, with prelude entertainment by Djembe Drummers.
  • August 4: Cecilia Vizcaino and Maria del Carmen Ordonez. With prelude entertainment by Señor Banana.
  • August 5: Family Friendly Storytelling “Under the Magic Ash”, with Robert Munsch, Kait Taylor and friends.
  • August 11: Heather Whaley and Michael “Rusty” Dougherty, who will also provide prelude music.
  • August 18: Beve & Elizabeth Matson and Ruth Danziger with prelude entertainment by Royal City Ambassadors.
  • August 19: Family Friendly Storytelling “Under the Magic Ash”, with Robert Munsch, Ruth Danziger and Elizabeth Matson.
  • August 25: Paul & Judy Caufield and Susan Ida Boucaud, with prelude entertainment by Egan Baird.
  • September 1: Jan Sherman and Sarah Abusarar with prelude entertainment by Violinist Bridget Walsh.
  • September 8, Season finale: Adwoa Badoe and Sya VanGeest with prelude entertainment by Royal City Ambassadors.
