Amir Al-Azraki presents a free stage reading of The Newcomers Speak: A Consultation Cacophony on Thursday June 27, 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, at the Guelph Black Heritage Society (83 Essex Street Guelph).
The Newcomers Speak: A Consultation Cacophony unfolds at the Mooseville Arts Council meeting, where immigrant friends find themselves amidst a predominantly white crowd. As discussions on funding and community engagement progress, they experience a lack of understanding and inclusivity. Yet, through shared experiences, they find unity, using music to bridge divides and spark connections.
