Arts Everywhere Festival – Allautik

Sat, May 3 2025, 8:30 pm - 10:30 pm

The Arts Everywhere Festival presents Allautik on Saturday May 3, 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, at the Riverrun Centre.

Alaska Native artists and an Irish poet come together to share their work in conversation and performance. Sonya-Kelliher Combs is a visual artist and curator who works as a mentor and advocate for other artists wherever she goes. Her work is full of generosity and questions for all of us. Melissa Shaginoff is an artist who works closely with community in building relations and strengthening cultural practices. Stephen James Smith is a poet known for his collaborative performances with noted musicians. He also works with community in Ireland promoting the work of poets writing in many languages.

Following the readings and conversation, the audience will be treated to a live performance from ROSINA: a collaborative project bringing together electronic music producer Nicholas Murray, drag performer and multidisciplinary artist Franny Galore-Wingz, and producer, vocalist and poet Rosina Kazi, in a blend of Techno, House, Hip Hop, and global rhythms inspired by Toronto’s diversity.
