Tanya Korigan is a poet and artist. She developed a taste for composing long poems through an interdisciplinary course with the University of Guelph’s English and Fine Art departments and a focus on long-form and inter-generic pieces continues to this day.
Recently, her poetry was animated with dance and audio-visual projections by The Pins and Needles Fabric Company of Kitchener, several poems and drawings exhibited and now archived at The Musagetes Architecture Library as part of The 100 Journal Project, and her poetry included in a pamphlet commemorating the anniversary of McCrae’s ‘In Flanders Fields’ distributed to the public through the Guelph Public Library.
