SANDY BASSIE has maintained a love of language and a passion for writing her entire life. She reveals this in her journals, reflections on life, poetry, and some (very) short stories. Sandy believes creativity comes in many forms. She values living in joy, believing in hope and risking love; an outlook she applied to all areas of life, including raising her children. She has lived in the Guelph area, first in Acton then in Fergus, for the past twenty-eight years, moving from Newmarket when her oldest son began attending the school for the Deaf in Milton. Her life is busy and full, but she keeps time to write and hopes to share more of her work in the years to come.
