Vocamus Writers Community and the Guelph Public Library are partnering again this year to offer free online writing workshops at 2:00 PM every Sunday afternoon in February.
On Sunday, February 20, join us for Rhyme Capsules: a Hands-On Songwriting Workshop.
Join us for a crash course in songwriting with James Gordon. As a group, in less than 90 minutes, compose a song from beginning to end, learning the tools of the trade along the way. Participants will receive an emailed recording of the song that is created from scratch.
James Gordon has had a long and successful career in the Canadian entertainment business. He’s just released his new album “When I Stayed Home” and his first novel “The Ark Of The Oven Mitt”. James is a songwriter, musician, record producer, playwright, community activist, author, theatre director and currently has a part-time ‘side hustle’ as a Guelph City Councillor.
