MARIAN L THORPE is a writer of historical and urban fantasy and historical fiction. Works include the Empire's Legacy series, historical fantasy set in an analogue of northern Europe after the decline of the Roman Empire, and In An Absent Dream, an urban fantasy chapbook published by Vocamus Offcuts. Marian is a regular contributor to the short story webzine A Muse Bouche, and a commissioned contributor to historical fiction anthologies from Taw River Press in the UK. Currently, Marian is working on the first book of The Casillard Confederacy, (working title An Unwise Prince) set in the same world as the Empire's Legacy series but roughly 500 years later.
