PHIL ANDREWS was the managing editor of the Guelph Mercury from September 2005 until the paper’s close in January 2016. Prior to coming to Guelph for the Mercury job, he had worked at CBC Radio, The Chronicle-Journal, The Sudbury Star, and The New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal. He now works as a communications consultant with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
Phil is also the editor of Guelph Mercury Rising, a collection of short stories by former Guelph Mercury staff writers.
