Millie’s Wonderful Day is a story geared to children age 6-9, told in rhyming verse, about a transgender child’s coming-out story and how love and support can have such a positive effect. The book is illustrated by Blake Sebastian who is a transgender artist from New York State. While it is important that gender diverse folks are able to have books where they see characters like themselves, Deanna hopes that this story will help our community (and beyond) to be accepting and assist them in understanding the importance of supporting gender diverse people.
