Set in Chicago 1966, The Nevermind House: A Cautionary Tale follows little Johnny Rocco whose big dreams of Morocco, gazpacho and Doctor Zhivago are thwarted by the naysayers. This tale cautions against the perils of passivity and encourages readers to break free, use their voices and be themselves, unapologetically.
J.Lorito, MA, is a multidisciplinary Ontario-based artist most concerned with character. J.Lorito Books are chock full of colour, absurdity, blunt truths and queer characters. For Lorito, art is a collaborative, community-building process; she works with actors, filmmakers, musicians and writers.
