Bailey Kennedy is a local author who has spent the last 15 years working across the United States, United Kingdom and Canada in sales and marketing. Most recently she published two children’s books as part of a series called Violet and George’s Adventures and has spent her time traveling to schools, book events and stores promoting them as well as using them to help fundraise in the community. While her formal training comes in the form of a Public Relations Degree, Bailey has always had a passion for writing and storytelling across different mediums. When she was 8 years old, her father gifted her a box set of books called “Girls to the Rescue,” which were historical retellings of folklore written to offset the stories of the helpless heroine. It was those books that shaped how she viewed herself, and her love of reading.
