Sandra Wilson is a children’s author, educator and illustrator living in Ontario, Canada. She has always loved to find inspiration in the world for stories, for drawings, for paintings and just to enjoy. She often works with groups of kids to create books, as she finds their ideas truly inspiring. Many of the books she creates are meant to get the conversation started with kids about topics that might otherwise be difficult to talk about. She has a series on emotions, bullies, eco-footprints, and grief and loss, all of which have inspired conversation, compassion and understanding from the readers. She thinks inspiring creativity is very important and is developing books, games and courses to help kids build storytelling skills. She hopes kids will be inspired to tell stories that help them understand themselves better, help them cope better, or help them dream and plan for their future. She thinks words are magic and stories are one of the best ways to spread this magic through the world where it can truly make a difference.
