Ever get to the end of a Friday and think, "Man, I wish I'd gotten more writing done this week." Here's your chance.
23-Minute Club is a free writing group open to everyone – newbie writers and experienced pros alike.
Show up at 2:00 PM on Fridays at Robusta Cafe & Lounge – 160 Macdonell Street, below the condo. (You know, the time of day/week when we all say we're so busy, but really we're just watching YouTube videos of raccoons flying off skateboards. You know I'm right.)
What: Grab a coffee and by 2:10-2:15 you'll get a writing prompt. Then it's off to the races. No editing. No ego. Just get it down. You've got 23 minutes. Do your worst. (Seriously, I mentioned the "no ego" part, right? But if you happen to churn out jaw-dropping prose, no one will hold it against you.)
Read and share if you want, but it's not required. This is strictly a "no critiquing" affair.
