Madhur is a Full Professor in the School of Environmental Sciences and University Research Chair in Sustainability Science at the University of Guelph. She has authored/co-authored over seventy-five peer-reviewed scientific papers and one academic book, Climate Change Biology. Madhur is also a poet and has co-edited Regreen: New Canadian Ecological Poetry. Her debut collection of poetry was A New Index for Predicting Catastrophes (McClelland & Stewart).
She lives in Guelph with her husband and small children.
