Skeleton traces a young woman’s journey through recovery from a shocking event in her childhood. When she is twelve years old, a manipulative playmate bullies her into venturing onto the too-soft river ice. Unbeknownst to the girls, they are followed, and witness an accidental drowning. Now in her twenties, our protagonist has never revealed the events of that day, and her life has been arrested by the trauma. She is only able to begin healing by confronting her feelings and telling the truth.
