A reminder that Kira Vermond, author of numerous non-fiction titles for kids, is running a four week writing class for kids on Saturday mornings, beginning this November 18 and running to December 9, from 10:00 AM to Noon, in the Greenroom above The Bookshelf (41 Quebec Street).
Young writers in grades 5 to 8 will learn everything from how to build a story to creating characters and even how to submit to contests.
