Book Bash 2025 is officially a go! The next edition of our celebration of local writing will be held on Sunday November 9, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at The Round Table at 32 Essex Street in Guelph. Save the date!

The Guelph Enabling Garden and the Guelph Guild of Storytellers are holding Tea ‘n’ Tales at the Guelph Enabling Garden located within Riverside Park for its 17th season, beginning on June 13 and continuing every Friday until September 12. Each hour-long performance begins at 10:30 AM.

Authors and illustrators Ashley and Breanna Bolliger will be at The Children's Reading Room on Friday August 1, 1:00 AM to Noon, reading their book, Carrie Can Fly Too. There will be colouring pages of the book's artwork for children.

The Women's Writing Circle meets every first Saturday of the month, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Village Loom in Eden Mills. $15-20 suggested donation or PWYC. Drop-in welcome. Email villageloom@gmail.com.

The VWC Second Saturday writers' hang-out is on August 9, 7:00 PM at a NEW LOCATION – Royal Electric Bar and Eatery at 52 Macdonell Street.

Join the VWC Poetry Group for a potluck outside under the GCVI pavilion on Saturday August 23, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. It's an informal group for poets at various points in their careers but working seriously on their craft, coordinated by Nikki Everts and James Nowak. Email vocamuswriterscommunity@gmail.com.
