Several long years after Books for Breakfast went off the air, Guelph finally has its own literary radio show once again!
Bookish Radio is a weekly radio show on CFRU hosted by Guelph writers Anna Bowen and Kim Davids Mandar. They interview writers, pass on details of local literary events, and keep writers up to date with opportunities for submissions. It airs each Thursday, 10:00 AM, on CFRU.
The first episode interviews Susan Scott and Eufemia Fantetti on the subject of writing spiritual memoir, discusses the upcoming anthology Body & Soul: Creative Nonfiction for Skeptics and Seekers (Caitlin Press), shares tips and insights about writing practice, and gives details about The New Quarterly’s French River Writing Retreat.
