VWC Newsletter – February 2019

The Vocamus Writers Community February 2019 Newsletter is here with all the literary fun you've come to expect, and also a few things you should know:

  1. We have a new fundraising platform. We've heard your complaints about our current fundraising site, and we've switched to FundRazr. If you’ve previously been supporting us through Patreon, your existing pledges have been cancelled. Any future pledges should be made through our page on www.fundrazr.com. If you have any questions feel free to be in touch.
  2. The GPL Teen Writing Contest is now open. Please encourage any teens you know in grades 7-12 to submit.
  3. Our annual Free February Writing Workshops run each Sunday this month, 2:00 PM, at the Guelph Public Library, featuring Linda Kenyon, Stephen Henighan, Claire Tacon, and Karen Houle. Come on out and learn from some great local writers.

As always, let us know if we’ve missed anything, and we’ll post it through our media and in our calendar.  If you’re planning something for March, let us know that too, and we’ll include it in the next newsletter.
