VWC Newsletter – April 2022

The April 2022 Vocamus Writers Community Newsletter is here to ring in the spring.

Take note of the Wellington County Writers Festival opening day festivities on Saturday April 23, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Wellington County Museum and Archives, with readings and storytelling by local authors, book vendors, refreshments, puppet shows and children’s activities.

Also note that we're still looking for local authors willing to help mentor teen writers for the GPL Teen Writing Contest. It involves reading and giving feedback on a single story, just a few minutes out of your day, and a real encouragement to a young writer. If you're interested, email vocamuswriterscommunity@gmail.com

As always, you can find more information about upcoming events on our Calendar – https://vocamus.net/community/calendar.
