  • The Vocamus Writers Community Genre Fiction Group will meet online via Zoom on Sunday October 3, 2:00 PM. A Book Brush member will be discussing fun marketing tips, explaining their services, and giving advice on creating eye-catching book covers.   • Writing Room begins again on Monday September 13. It's a quiet co-writing time, is on Monday mornings from 9:00 AM to noon at the Guelph Little Theatre. Attendance is limited. Details here – https://vocamus.net/community/events/2021/09/writing-room.

  • The Eden Mills Writers' Festival is hosting an online panel featuring Omar El Akkad (What Strange Paradise), Jael Richardson (Gutter Child), Nicholas Ruddock (Last Hummingbird West of Chile), and Kim Thúy (Em), on Thursday October 7 at 8:00 PM.   • Vocamus Writers Community's Second Saturday writers' hang-out is on Saturday September 11, 7:00 PM, at Fixed Gear Brewing. It's a casual and unstructured chance to meet with other writers, have a drink, and chat about what you're reading and writing.
