Andrew Hood’s first collection of short stories, Pardon Our Monsters, was given the 2008 Danuta Gleed Award. His second, The Cloaca (Invisible Publishing) came screaming into the miserable world spring 2012. Stories from that book appeared in Maisonneuve Magazine, PRISM International, the Joyland website, and as a fancy Dan chapbook from Frog Hollow Press. Two of those stories have been nominated for the 2012 Journey Prize. His most recent book, Jim Guthrie: Who Needs What, is a work of nonfiction published as part of Invisible Publishing's Bibliophonic Series.
