Anna Bowen is a freelance writer and editor based in Guelph, Ontario. She has an MA from the University of Toronto in Sociology and Equity Studies in Education and Women and Gender studies, as well as a diploma in Creative Writing at the Humber School for Writers. Anna Bowen’s writing on social and environmental justice, spirituality, and public space can be found in Alternatives Journal, Geez Magazine, This Magazine, Momentum Magazine and Spacing. Anna can also be found mothering, cycling, playing the accordion, and organic gardening. She is co-news editor of This Magazine. Her new volume of poetry called ReMediate.
