CHRISTINA EVANS was born in Hamilton, ON, Canada, and has lived in both Australia and Scotland, before settling in Fergus, Ontario. She has a fine art degree and post graduate designations in both teaching and multimedia design. All throughout her education, she always maintained a keen interest in poetry and creative writing, and often incorporated elements of writing into her art. She had been developing a series of platypus cartoon characters in 2006, and after having twins in 2009, she was inspired to transform those characters into a collection of 4 children’s poetry books, all at a “B” reading level. Partnering with a colleague in 2012, she developed her first full-length children’s narrative book, which is suitable for “D/E” reading levels. In addition to promoting her children’s books, she also continues to internationally publish adult humour essays about relationships and motherhood.
