Francine Diot has completed a Masters of Art, French Studies and Literature, from York University’s Glendon College, and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
Responding to the writing call, she has also completed a certificate of Creative Writing from Humber College (Sandra Birdsell) and has taken various creative writing courses, including the Long Ridge Writers Group and the Sarah Selecky Writing School.
She has freelanced for various publications, most notably Rover, an online arts review magazine based in Montreal., and has completed a historical novel, Dayhahdenns, set in 17th Century Louisiana and inspired by the journals of René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle and other primary sources.
