J. E. Hewitt

J. E. HEWITT writes fiction, non-fiction, and children’s stories. She is the author of Yes I Can: A Mental Health Guide for Adult Literacy Facilitators (2017). Her personal essays have appeared in The Globe and Mail Canadian national newspaper (2015- 2019). She is a winner of the Eden Mills Writer’s Festival Fringe Series short story contest (2013), sounding magazine short story contest (1992) adjudicated by Michael Valpy, and an ABC Life Literacy Canada national honourable mention award for innovation in writing educational materials (2016). She completed a Masters in English Literature at the University of Guelph (1998). She is currently an employment coach in Centre Wellington.
