Josée Gratton grew up on the South Shore of Montréal. She completed her University studies in Spanish Literature at Queen’s University, and received her Bachelor of Education from D’Youville College in Buffalo. She has been a French Immersion Teacher in the Guelph community for over 15 years. Throughout her career, she has welcomed many teacher education candidates in her classroom as well as mentored new teachers in various schools. What I Wish I Had Known is her first book. She hopes that these pieces of advice will help new teachers feel more confident and less overwhelmed in their first years of teaching.
When she is not in the classroom, she loves to be creative and is always working on new projects! She lives in Guelph, Ontario with her husband Ben and her two children Abigail and Noah.
