MARIA STENGOS CAMAMERT graduated from the University of Guelph and achieved a Masters of Arts, English literature and Film studies at Wilfred Laurier. She prefers the genres of psychological horror, fantasy, magic realism, and immigrant fiction, and is an avid watcher of anime, foreign dramas, and cartoons. She is interested in the topics of mortality,complicated emotions, and soulmates, which she visits in her own personal writing. She keeps in touch with her artsy side by drawing, cosplay, and frequenting anime conventions. She is generally a quiet person, a fast reader, and a deep conversationalist once you get her talking.
