Nate Latendre is a children's book author, with The Apple Tree being the first book he has written and published. The Apple Tree is based on a true story and it's what inspired him to try writing. Not having prior writing experience or background in literature, pursuing the goal of becoming a published author took him far outside his comfort zone. While not an easy task to complete the book, he was up for the challenge and hopes to write and publish another children's book. He lives in Guelph, Ontario with his children. Fascinated by nature, you're likely to find him exploring the many parks and trails in and around the city. He also spends time taking care of his gardens. When he has free time he enjoys playing make believe and dressing up with his kids. Pretending to be a rock star or a wizard are his favourites!
