RICHARD MCLEISH came originally from Toronto, taking a BAA degree from Ryerson University in Photographic Arts. He settled in Guelph, Ontario in 1980. Here he continued his work in the photographic industry marketing supplies to numerous users of these materials in South Western Ontario and the Niagara Peninsula. Seeing the end of photographic industry coming, due to digital technology, Richard changed professions in 1990 by joining the Financial Services Industry in which he still practices.Besides building a successful practice in this Industry, Richard earned his designations as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Charted Life Underwriter (CLU), and a Certified Health Specialist (CHS).
Besides a passion for photography, Richard has always had a love for History, Aviation and Automobiles. In his first book, Encryption, he deftly folds these elements into a fast moving thriller which draws heavily on his knowledge of the world of Finance. He also provides us with a peek at what is coming in the world of computers.
Richard is married to Helen and they have two adult children, Martin and Megan. Richard and Helen recently welcomed their first grandchild, Anna Sophia McLeish.
