SHEILA KOOP is a writer who loves to filter landscape, experience and emotion through poetry. She also writes creative non-fiction short stories, and has dabbled in the romance genre of novel writing. Her poetry and short stories have won several awards from the Elora Writers Festival Competition. Sheila also co-edited an oral history of Wellington County, Older Voices Among Us. The village of Elora is home turf to Sheila and she finds that its beautiful vistas of river and rock help to fuel the imagination. Apart from writing, Sheila is involved as a Board member of the Elora Centre for the Arts, a wonderful community resource that is finding new directions as it ages.
