Judith Nasby founding director/curator of the Art Gallery of Guelph (formerly the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre) was named Curator Emerita when she retired in 2013. She has lectured and toured exhibitions on four continents and was a visiting Curator at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing, China and at the University of Delaware. Judith is author of Irene Avaalaaqiaq: Myth and Reality; Rolph Scarlett: Painter, Designer, Jeweller; and co-author of The Cultivated Landscape: An Exploration of Art and Agriculture. In 2021 Judith was nominated for a Governor General’s Award for her book The Making of a Museum. Her most recent publication is Kivioq's Journey and Other Revelations in the Donald Forster Sculpture Park at the Art Gallery of Guelph.
