Richard Elmes is a poet and writer from Guelph that has been recognized and awarded for his accomplishments in speaking, leadership and sales.
His debut short story and poetry collection titled: Insights for you that fell out of my head (2023) is a collection of inspirational stories, poetry and thoughts designed to help his readers to think, take action and see the world in a new light. He also created three chapbooks titled: You Are Beautiful, The Bridge, and Hockey Talk.
Richard draws inspiration from his faith, family, sports, human dynamics and the community where he lives. It is his insatiable curiosity, love of people, and ability to touch people’s emotions, to the point where they keep saying, “Yes, finally someone gets me,” where he makes the greatest impact.
