Richard Elmes is a poet, writer, husband and dad who lives in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
When he is not being recognized as an award-winning leader, public speaker or sales professional, he can be found studying relationships, performing at local Open Mic nights or looking for new ways to inspire others.
His debut collection of poetry, short stories and motivational thoughts is titled: “Insights for you that fell out of my head. (2023)” This is designed to help his readers to think, take action and see the world in a new light.
Richard's second book titled: "Lighting dark spaces: micro-lessons for life in this insta-world" (2024) is a collection of 68 social media posts that morphed into bite-sized, easily-digestible lessons that only take minutes to read, but have the power to help readers think deeper and gain the wisdom of a lifetime. He also created three chapbooks titled: "You Are Beautiful"(2022), "The Bridge"(2022), and "Hockey Talk"(2022).
Richard’s insatiable curiosity, love of people, and ability to touch people’s emotions, to the point where they keep saying, “Finally someone gets me,” is where he makes the greatest impact.
